DeeperDatingis both an opportunity to meet other single bears / admirersseekingquality friendships and relationships and a personal growthworkshop.
The evening will consist of a brief talk by therapist Hernan Poza III, LMSW
followed by a series of fun exercises enabling participants to meet and exchange contact information in a safe, comfortable atmosphere. For a completeBear evening at the Center all participants are invited to stayforFurBall/Dance208 immediately following DeepBear Dating!
Hernan is a psychotherapist and workshop leader who has directed numerous events for the LGBT community.

The Fourth Annual Show Tune Showdown 2009
Saturday, May 9 at 8pm
Bronson Center - 211 Bronson Avenue, Ottawa.
Three talented performing arts groups will be competing in the fourth annual Show Tune Showdown, a fund-raiser for local non-profit choir Tone Cluster. The event, which makes for a very entertaining evening of musical theatre, has been a great success for the past three years and has become the largest GLBT arts production in the Ottawa-Gatineau region.
The competing teams representing arts organizations from across Ontario (Sheridan College Musical Theatre Program, Suzart Productions and Zucchini Grotto Theatre Company) will sing a selection of show tunes in front of celebrity judges James Caswell, Alex Munter and Kathleen Petty.
Adding to the entertainment, audience members can get into the act by volunteering to sing songs selected by the MC Bob LeDrew and awarding the points they win to their favorite team!
