Bear Border Community First Event Location:
El Paso, Texas
Everything starts with a small project, the main idea is to unite all groups of bears in this border and make a massive event where the bears can enjoy and learn more about life on the border communities.
THE EVENT CONSISTS ... of a weekend, where we will visit three cities, but different cultures:
The State of New Mexico, will host a day camp in one of its famous lakes.
The State of Texas will release its Star city which "will give a great atmosphere --at the night clubs". and from Mexico, the host city will be: a city full of cultural contrasts and a good swim where bears can cool off in a pool of the locality.
Bear Week - Ptown Location:
Provincetown, MA
Provincetown Bears prepares a special welcome for Bears to one of North America's most famous gay resort towns. We work with local club managers to program different music and atmosphere for a week of parties. We also allow time to relax and have a true vacation. Our schedule leaves plenty of free time to enjoy the town, restaurants, cabaret shows, National Seashore park, beaches, and the daily gatherings at hotel pool decks.
All Provincetown bars and clubs are 21 years old and older, including the two hotel pools used for Bear Week. Public meeting places such as the active street scene, Town Hall benches, Spiritus Pizza and beaches are available for younger cubs to enjoy. Bars, clubs and restaurants are all smoke-free areas in Massachusetts; provisions are often available for smoking outdoors.
Traditional highlights of Provincetown in summer include the daily T-Dance and nightly 1am pizza and cruising at Spiritus. The hotels, pools and clubs are mostly within a short walk, and Commercial Street becomes one of our primary venues as a place to see and meet friends.
BrokeBack Campout Location:
Michigan
The Michigan International Gay Rodeo Association at their Annual "BrokeBack" campout July 17-19, 2009 at 10200 Cooper Rd, Pleasant Lake, Michigan.
Join us at "The Ranch" for a weekend full of fun! The weekend will include overnight camping, a BBQ dinner with all the fix'ns & a beverage, an entire day filled with fun events including horseback riding, bon fires, hay rides, horse shoe tournament, a barn dance, plus learning how to properly put underwear on a goat.
What? Can't stay overnight? No problem . . . you can have all the fun and food anyway. You'll get plenty to eat, have fun riding, tossing horseshoes, get close enough to dress a goat in underwear, and dance the night away! Yeehaw! Who could ask for more?
